Blog 4 page 193 Cropping

I chose several pictures and then cropped them in different ways to focus on different items.  I did this by opening the picture in Microsoft Office Picture Manager which allows you to crop, re-size, change color and reduce red eye.  I have used this program many times both personally and professionally.

I then put the pictures into a slideshow using Proshow Gold, the program I use for the graduation slideshow I make every year.  This time I played with the captions feature to .  I added captions, moved them around, changed the fonts and the colors to see what worked.

I hope you enjoy it!

  1. Stacy,

Can you post the cropping exercise to the blog. It's trying to get it from your hard drive. And your work is always creative, so I definitely want to see it.

  3. Stacy,

It's obvious with every post you create how much time and effort you dedicate to your work in this course. Thanks so much for taking the extra time to create this post in video form. Your work exemplifies the power of multimedia -- the combination of audio, video, and textual elements illustrates what this course is all about! While all three on their own have their strengths, when unified, audio, textual, and visual elements make the composition shine!

    Great job!
